Hello! I'm Richard Jeffries.

life long pacific northwest based photographer

Nature has taught me that true beauty is fugitive, slipping through our fingers like light through leaves. Life has shown me its brevity.

Photography becomes defiance: it captures what would otherwise dissolve into mere recollection, crystallizing transient instants into powerful, lasting visions that echo forever in the mind.

Husband and father

I am, first and foremost, a husband and father-those roles define my perspective, shape my values, and guide the way I approach both life and work. Family, faith, and integrity are not separate from what I do; they are the foundation of it.

As a photographer, I am drawn to authenticity, detail, and meaningful connection. I believe the most impactful work comes from understanding people, recognizing the significance in ordinary moments, and preserving them with intention and clarity.

My work is rooted in purpose rather than appearance-building trust, capturing unforgettable moments, creating lasting value, and serving others with professionalism, thoughtfulness, and genuine care.

Just as landscapes invite stillness in the mind, heart, and eye, so too do portraits hold quiet moments within them. Each image captures a fleeting instant, preserved like a snowflake in crystal—delicate, intricate, and entirely unique. No two will ever be the same.

Lets discover the magic hiding with in the moments you want to save.

"Landscape photography is not just about capturing the beauty of the natural world; it's about capturing the essence of life."
